Lately, Syngenta’s new biostimulant product Persicop won the Innovation Award in the Fruit and Vegetable Industry category at Fruit Logistica 2022. As an innovative product with far-reaching significance in agricultural sustainable development, Persicop facilitates soil nitrogen fixation and prevents nitrogen loss in a natural way.
The function of Persicop is mainly based on two bacterial strains - Azotobacter salina and Wickerhamomyces anomalus. These two unique strains interact with plants, which facilitates biological nitrogen fixation for plant roots. The use of this product can not only improve the quality and yield of various vegetable crops, but also effectively boost soil stability, reduce nitrogen loss, and enhance soil fertility and health.
